Our John Deere 1490D 8-wheel forwarder is on 800 LGP tyres, (with tracks if required). Used for timber, stumps, brash and whole trees. Long-chassis and additional pins/bunks for moving stumps. 18-ton payload.
Equipped with brash grapple and 10m reach crane. Fully safety-compliant, with night-working additional lighting, fire extinguishers, seatbelt light and satellite tracking system. This machine is ideal for site-clearance work, forestry and forwarding material out to a chipper or horizontal grinder.
Supplied with skilled operator, the forwarder is ideal for biomass extraction and can stockpile to 8m high, as well as loading shredders and trailers.
