Deep Rotovating

Contract deep-rotovator / forestry tiller.

The rotovating or deep tilling process is used for breaking down and burying surface layers of mulch, brash-mats, stumps, vegetation, and woodchip to a depth of 300mm.

The machine can also break stones and stumps up to 300mm in diameter. This process is ideal for finishing sites after harvesting or site clearance or where land is being returned to agriculture or grazing. The rotovating process breaks up impacted ground or hard-pan and mixes material into the site soils. It can also be used for blending sewage cake or compost material back into site soils.
The rotavator is a dual-purpose tool and can complete normal mulching work to break down standing material, vegetation, and stumps before rotovating this material back into the ground. This process is ideal for sites where material cannot be removed from site.

A Dual Purpose Tool

The rotovating process also produces a high-quality topsoil from impacted, stony ground and can be used to restore overgrown sites back to pasture or agriculture in a single pass. It is an ideal and economic way of bringing back Christmas tree plantations, derelict land, harvesting sites, and overgrown land back into a useable state.
