Humanitarian Demining

UXO, ERW & De-Mining Operations

Returning Contaminated Land to Safe Community Use

Kingwell supplies remote-controlled and armoured demining equipment to NGOs, demining agencies and humanitarian organisations clearing landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO) and explosive remnants of war (ERW). Our field-proven machines reduce risk to clearance teams while handling some of the most demanding ground conditions in the world.

Demining Site Clearance

Clearing the Way for Safe Clearance

Many sites earmarked for humanitarian demining are overgrown with vegetation, scrub or fallen trees, which makes detection and clearance difficult and dangerous. Kingwell’s equipment clears trees, vegetation, stumps and redundant structures first, exposing the ground so survey and clearance teams can work safely and effectively.

Built for Operator Safety

Our machines are remote-controlled or operate from within armoured cabs, keeping personnel at a safe distance from hazardous ground. The MineWolf MW916B’s pressurised cab filters airborne contaminants, including depleted uranium and asbestos, protecting operators on heavily polluted sites. Remote-controlled units such as the PT300 D:Mine and MineWolf MW50 allow teams to clear and process ground without anyone entering the hazard area.

Our Equipment

Kingwell builds remote-controlled demining machines that make clearing landmines, UXO and explosive remnants of war safer and more effective. Based in the UK, we supply robust, field-tested equipment to humanitarian organisations, defence contractors and international demining agencies. UK-engineered, thoroughly tested, and built for one purpose: making hazardous ground safe again.

PT300 D:MINE

Demining & ERW Clearance Machine

The PT300 D:Mine is a remote-controlled tracked carrier built by FAE Group for mechanical demining and ERW clearance. It performs in rough terrain, steep slopes up to 45 degrees and dense vegetation, fitted with a deep-tiller, chain flail and de-vegetation mulcher as standard, with an excavation arm, stump grinder and dozer blade also available. Tested at CROMAC against anti-tank, anti-personnel and small arms hazards, it is suited to de-vegetation, de-stumping, demining and land reclamation in hazardous terrain.

MineWolf MW50

The MW50 is a compact, remotely operated platform for clearing anti-personnel mines, IEDs and explosive ordnance, and for de-vegetation work to expose search and clearance areas or routes in ultra-rugged, hard-to-access environments. Its lightweight design allows transport by 4×4 or helicopter, making it well suited to remote or inaccessible sites.

  • Remote-controlled operation with up to 1,000m line-of-sight range.
  • Continuous tiller ground penetration up to 150mm.
  • Vegetation flail and dozer blade for site stripping above hazards.
  • Onboard cameras for safe remote operation.

MineWolf MW916B

Demining, UXO & ERW Clearance Armoured Excavator

This fully armoured, twin-engine excavator withstands direct contact with high explosives at the work tool and around the base machine, with a pressurised cab filtering airborne contaminants. Supplied with a fully trained operator, it carries a mine tiller, heavy-duty mulcher, tree and stump shears, selector grab, ripper tooth and full set of buckets, clearing vegetation, stumps and ground hazards in a single pass.

Supplied with a fully trained, certified and highly skilled operator, the complete system is equipped with a T-145 rotary deep-tiller, heavy-duty vegetation and stump mulcher head, hydraulic stump shear, hydraulic tree shear, hydraulic stump auger, hydraulic selector grab, digging buckets, ripper tooth, and ground rake. The machine can also be equipped with other attachments as required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The MineWolf MW50 is lightweight enough to transport by 4×4 and is air-portable for helicopter transport, making it suitable for remote or inaccessible sites. All our machines are built for steep slopes, narrow access and ultra-rugged terrain.

All our machines are operated by a fully trained, certified operator working at a safe distance from the hazard area, using remote control and onboard cameras. This means no one needs to enter the hazard zone during clearance.

Yes. We supply equipment for both domestic and international projects, working alongside humanitarian organisations, demining agencies and NGOs.

Our fleet is built for rough terrain, slopes up to 45 degrees, dense vegetation and contaminated ground, with attachments available to suit a wide range of site conditions.

Our tillers and flails are designed to neutralise mines and ERW mechanically, by agitating or fragmenting the ground. In some cases this causes detonation; in others, ordnance is neutralised without an explosion. The equipment also clears vegetation and ground cover to support detection and onward clearance work.
